Clean Energy Spotlight: Jose Phillips Rangel

This week’s spotlight is a former oil and gas professional who now works for America’s leading battery cell developer. Meet KORE Power’s Jose Phillips Rangel, one of the Faces of Clean Energy.

Earlier in his career, Jose was a project engineer for Procegas, an oil and gas company, but after graduating from Gonzaga University with an MBA in business administration, he began working at Idaho-based KORE Power as a finance intern and eventually became sales manager. Today, Jose oversees the acquisition and retention of KORE Powers’ client and developer network.  As an integral member of the KORE Power team, Jose is helping “to build products that help create an innovative and sustainable future where the leading energy source is clean and reliable.”

“Being at the forefront of a crucial industry while developing as a professional is an opportunity that I would cherish anywhere and that's what I am lucky to find at KORE -- a team full of ambition; poised to take on the [challenge of] energy storage…but also a full support system,” Jose said.

Congratulations, Jose!
