STATEMENT: Clean Energy for America’s Statement on the 2022 Midterm Election Results

(Washington, D.C.) – Yesterday, voters across all 50 states turned out to cast their ballots in the 2022 midterm elections. In response to the results, Clean Energy for America’s (CE4A) Executive Director Andrew Reagan made the following statement:

“The election results are still being tallied, but one thing is clear: Clean energy is a winning issue that voters care about. Last night’s results showcase that investments in clean energy do pay off, not just for American workers and families, but for the elected officials who helped make those investments happen.

“Regardless of which political party ultimately controls Congress next term, 2022 will be remembered for its hard-won victories for clean energy, and we will continue advocating for a clean energy future, the creation of good-paying clean energy jobs, and lower energy bills for families.

“We look forward to working with our allies, old and new, to help realize the full potential of a clean energy economy for Americans.”
