Clean Energy Spotlight: Helen Fairman

This week’s #cleanenergyspotlight is an entrepreneur and clean energy consultant who switched from retail store designer to seasoned marketing professional. It’s Helen Fairman, one of our #FacesofCleanEnergy.

Fairman brings “a track record of industry-specific expertise, and a robust network to businesses in clean energy, energy efficiency, IoT and related spaces.” From 2018 to 2019, she served as the Chief Marketing Officer at BlueWave Solar, a solar and energy storage developer that generated “enough solar energy to avoid roughly 144,000 metric tons of carbon emissions annually.” There she launched a marketing program including initiatives such as rebranding, thought leadership, public relations, etc. Prior to this, Fairman served as the Marketing Director for PowerHouse Dynamics, a technology company offering an enterprise asset and energy management platform for small facilities.

Fairman is proud to play an integral part in helping businesses grow while creating hundreds of professional opportunities for clean energy workers; “ My work isn't just a job, it's a mission.” And part of this mission is to help the U.S. escape its history of relying on oil and gas.“Fossil fuel jobs represent just what they sound like: the past. We don't want to be fossils, we want to protect life on earth with jobs that represent current and future opportunity: clean energy jobs.”

Congratulations, Helen, and thank you for continuing to convey the power of sustainability by amplifying the potential of clean energy.
