STATEMENT: CE4A Celebrates Nancy Pelosi’s Leadership Legacy

(Washington, D.C.) – Today, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced she’ll step down as the Democratic Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives. In response, Clean Energy for America’s (CE4A) Executive Director Andrew Reagan made the following statement:

“Speaker Pelosi is an incredible, historical, and impactful champion for America’s workers, and especially America’s clean energy workers. Her legacy is a long run of change-making pieces of legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act, and it’s clear that her service in and atop the U.S. House of Representatives has pushed America further and faster towards a clean energy economy. And thanks to her leadership, consumers, workers and communities are primed to benefit immensely from the cost-cutting, pollution-cutting benefits of renewables. On behalf of the leaders and the workforce of this industry, we thank and applaud her.”
