Clean Energy For America Disappointed by Build Back Better Delay
(Washington, DC) — Yesterday, the White House acknowledged that the Senate would not vote on the Build Back Better Act until 2022.
In response, Deputy Executive Director of Clean Energy for America Sarah Mason released the following statement:
“We are deeply disappointed in this delay of the bold clean energy investments in the Build Back Better Act , and we expect quick action by the Senate in the new year to pass this legislation with these critical provisions included. We’re at a pivotal moment to accelerate the growth of the clean energy sector, and this legislation is our best chance to grow the clean energy sector exponentially and make a real difference in the lives of families across the country, through job creation and lower monthly energy bills. Failing to deliver these investments to the American people is not an option.”
