CE4A Action Statement on Kamala Harris’ Selection of Governor Tim Walz as Vice Presidential Running Mate

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Vice President Kamala Harris selected her vice-presidential running mate to be Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. In response, CE4A Action issued the following statement:

"We commend Vice President Harris for picking Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota to be her vice-presidential nominee. In his time atop Minnesota, Governor Walz has promoted the power of clean energy workers, technologies and companies. For example, he enacted a robust clean energy law in 2023. And he's led Minnesota while its clean energy workforce has grown to nearly 60,000 workers. No doubt, he'll be an excellent champion for the successful clean energy policies started by the Biden-Harris administration."
