STATEMENT: CE4A on Biden Administration’s Announcement on Securing America’s Supply Chain for Critical Minerals

(Washington, D.C.)  – Today, the Biden Administration announced major investments to expand America’s domestic supply chain for minerals and materials used in the production of clean energy technologies like batteries, electric vehicles, wind turbines, and solar panels. 

In response, CE4A’s Executive Director Andrew Reagan released the following statement:

“President Biden made a commitment to move the nation toward a clean energy future, and he is delivering. More is more: producing more of these critical minerals and materials in America will mean even more families in America will enjoy the benefits of clean energy, sooner and swifter. We applaud the Biden Administration for this latest action to secure and strengthen America’s clean energy future, which will cut costs and pollution and will create good-paying jobs here at home.”
