Clean Energy Spotlight: Jon Salmon

Congrats to this week’s #cleanenergyspotlight, a #windenergy expert with over 14 years of experience. Jon Salmon is a business development manager at Enerpac, located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Enerpac is a global company dedicated to the design, manufacturing and production of high-pressure hydraulic products. Thanks to the booming clean energy market, Enerpac now designs and implements tools related to the construction of clean energy products, including specialized tools for installing, maintaining or decommissioning wind turbines.

Prior to joining the Enerpac team, Jon served in a variety of roles within the wind energy industry, including wind consulting and management, where he managed sales along with maintenance and engineering. When he started his career in wind, he drew on his engineering experience in the heavy equipment and semiconductor industries.

Jon gets great satisfaction working in the sustainable energy field. “[T]he quality of human life depends on energy, and it is crucial that we utilize it in a way that is not harmful to our environment. Clean energy…is the solution…” Jon said in a submission to the Faces of Clean Energy program. “We will benefit greatly by increasing the amount of clean energy we produce.”

Congratulations, Jon. Thank you for working to transition the world toward a clean energy future.
