STATEMENT: Clean Energy for America Commends Departing White House Aide Brian Deese for His Work to Create Thousands of Clean Energy Jobs

(Washington, D.C.) – Today, Brian Deese announced his impending departure from the White House, following two years of service as director of the president’s National Economic Council. In recognition of Deese’s contributions to the clean energy workforce, CE4A’s Executive Director Andrew Reagan made the following statement:

“We thank Brian Deese for his service to the country: empowering the nation’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and driving a period of growth and opportunity, especially for domestic clean energy and clean energy workers. His tenure oversaw the creation of thousands of new jobs in clean energy innovation, development and deployment, and his contributions to that success story cannot be overstated.
