Clean Energy for America’s Statement on Republican Study Committee’s Anti-Worker Budget

Today, the Republican Study Committee (RSC) proposed a budget that would dramatically cut funding for made-in-America clean energy. In response, CE4A Executive Director Andrew Reagan released the following statement:

"The RSC budget goes after American workers and consumers – that is unacceptable. House Republicans want to dismantle America’s clean energy manufacturing boom, which has already spurred over 270,000 new jobs all across America. Instead of making us stronger, the RSC budget would cede American energy leadership to autocrats in Russia and China. Congress must pass a budget that builds on America's clean energy prowess, and the cost savings it is delivering to households. The RSC budget does neither and should be rejected outright. "
