Foundation for Energy Security and Innovation Briefing (Zoom Webinar)

Join us for a conversation David M. Hart, Information Technology and Innovation Foundation and Kerry C. Duggan, SustainabiliD will discuss ideas for the forthcoming Foundation for Energy Security and Innovation (FESI).

In July 2022, Congress took a major step to improve DOE's capabilities by authorizing DOE to establish and collaborate closely with a new non-profit Foundation for Energy Security and Innovation (FESI). The Foundation's mission, as outlined in the CHIPS Plus Science Bill, is to “support the DOE and advance collaboration across sectors to accelerate commercialization of energy technologies”. To do so, it will supplement and complement DOE’s own activities, especially serving as a catalyst for new high-impact initiatives, whether they emerge from within the Department or outside it.

ITIF through its partnership with SustainabiliD is actively building the network of stakeholders to ensure that FESI gets off to a fast start and contributes to DOE’s vital missions right away.
